| In 1979 I started dance.Through the years I've done ballet,tap,jazz,Hawaiian,pointe,gymnastics,lyrical and belly dance.Because of a diagnosis of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1987 a few of the dance forms fell by the wayside.Belly dance,which I discovered in 2002, is one dance that I"ve been able to continue with little to no difficulties.I now teach at MGM Dance Studio and study with Ziva at her studio in Hanover.As an original member of Troupe Anwar I've danced at many events and venues.My sewing abilities (my mom taught me when I was 8.) have enabled me to open my own belly dance store in Shrewsbury.Crystal's Casbah opened August 23rd,2008.Stop on by for all your belly dance needs. www.crystalscasbah.com |
